Roxio Toast has long been a mainstay for CD and DVD, and now Blu-ray burning and easy authoring on Macintosh. It's menus are consumer-oriented, much like iDVD, and do not tap into any of the advanced features of Blu-ray. But Toast offers the ability to design a more complete product than can be created in Final Cut, with multiple menus and titles, the choice of a large selection of templates, and ease of use.

The class will demonstrate how to use the Toast templates to create a professional-looking result and keep the authoring as simple as possible. It will also show how to use simplify the workflow by using Toast for the authoring, and the free BluStreak Burner application for actual burning.
