Adobe Encore is the only "prosumer" authoring application for Blu-ray on Macintosh. Its unified approach to authoring for DVD, Blu-ray, and Flash, on both Windows and Mac, is both its advantage, and an obstacle to more advanced authoring. But you can make very nice looking discs without a large amount of effort as long as you stick with a simple menu design.
The class demonstrates a workflow that avoids some of the pitfalls in the CS4 implementation, how to make best use of Encore/Photoshop menus, and will also cover the trade-offs from encoding with FCP vs. Adobe Production Bundle.
