Making Blu-ray in Final Cut Pro 7

With the release of Final Cut Studio 3, Apple has finally added basic support for burning Blu-ray discs either directly from Final Cut with the "Share" function, or by setting up a batch process for Compressor 3.5.

Basic support means that you can have only a single video, audio, and optional subtitle file. However you may include a chapter menu, and there are 5 templates provided. There is also the ability to design your own templates, but it is not a simple process.

The class will cover the basic steps and what we consider to be the best workflow to create one-offs easily and to save your work so you may make additional copies later. It will also demonstrate and explain a custom template that was used to create the class material.
