The Replication Report

BluStreak Premaster now has successful replications with all of the Blu-ray replication software that we are aware of: Eclipse, DCA (Doug Carson Associates), and Sony.

Always use the latest version of BluStreak Premaster, which you can download from the bottom of the Product Page. The latest build is now 1.1.5

Please read the article Folders and File Systems before submitting a BDCMF folder.

We now have several successful replications with BluStreak Premaster 1.0.1. The first two were done at L&M Optical Disc West in Valencia, CA.

  1. The first project was created with Encore CS4 using the Adobe MPEG-2 and LPCM encoders.

These encoders, plus the Encore AVC Video Encoder, have passed the Sony Stream Verifier with no errors or warnings.

Please see a more complete report in our Blu-ray Encoding section.

  2. The second project was also authored with Encore CS4 but the encoding was done entirely with Apple Compressor using the MPEG-2 and LPCM encoders.

David Courtice of DC-Creative has kindly provided us with a complete Disc structure and workflow production report.

  3. We now have a successful replication at Arvato Digital Services in Weaverville NC. Arvato (formerly known as Sonopress) is one of the largest and earliest Blu-ray replicators in the world, having done most of their replications at their main plant in Germany. They are now adding Blu-ray lines to some of their other plants.
  4. We now have successful replications at at least 3 European locations: Arvato in Germany, MPO in France, and Sony DADC in Austria.

Most often we don't hear about the successful replications - no news is usually good news.

Please tell us about your projects so that we can help our customers achieve the best replication experiences.
